Sorry for not writing here for the past month and a half. It's time for me to catch up. I am going to start by writing a little about my recent trip back to the US.

I make two trips a year back to the US because my family and friends are spread out all over the country. It's important for me to see them as often as I can and it's impossible to see them all in one trip. I have had 3 "homes" in the US; Lansing Michigan, Miami Florida and San Francisco California.  My father is still in Lansing, my brother is in San Francisco, my grandparents are in Blue Ridge Georgia, my aunt & uncle & one cousin are in Minneapolis Minnesota, another cousin is in Grand Haven Michigan and a third cousin is in Alaska. Having moved so much, it's been difficult to keep in touch with friends, but I do still have regular contact with friends in San Francisco and my best friend who now lives in Phoenix Arizona.

So last month, I visited my brother and some friends in San Francisco and also  my best friend Kevin in Phoenix Arizona. I've known Kevin, pictured above, since 1983.
