Perch Cafe

Some good friends of mine just opened a new coffee shop near Da-an MRT called Perch Cafe. The concept behind both the English and Chinese names is they want to make a place where you can feel comfortable to relax and spend a long time there, much like a bird perched in a tree.

They really did a nice job with the place. The atmosphere is very pleasant, they offer hundreds of books and magazines to read, play nice background music and offer free wireless internet. At the moment, they just have a drink menu with a few light snacks and desserts, but they will soon also offer lunch and dinner.

My friends names are Ryan and Ken. If you are ever in that area, I hope you will visit their coffee shop. Tell them Craig sent you!

Their hours are 12-noon - 11pm, Wed - Mon (closed Tuesdays).

Ya-TingI was there with my friends yesterday afternoon. (One of my friends is their friend and I was your student of Investec in Taipei 101. ^_^)It is really a cosy place with good music, tea and coffee.

MichaelMy 82 year-old father and I had lunch at Perch Cafe yesterday and loved the atmosphere, sandwiches and dessert. A lot of the other cafes in the area have the typical animal organs in a bowl with noodles so the ham and cheese sandwich and cozy atmosphere were welcome.
