My New HTC Desire HD

Because I am out-and-about all day, having a smart phone has been indispensable.
I can receive and reply to e-mails immediately from anywhere, make VoIP calls, chat on the MSN or Yahoo, access the web to update my class attendance records and more. This makes me more productive and responsive to my clients, and saves me a lot of time when I get home at the end of the day. Text messaging, organizing my calendar and taking care of my to-do list are all easier, too. Having a smart phone has changed my life!
Until recently, I had an iPhone 3G, but as I wrote in my post "Why I'll Be Replacing My iPhone", I was not entirely satisfied with it. Well, over the Lunar New Year, I finally replaced it with an HTC Desire HD. WOW, what a difference. I love it. I'm still learning how to use the Android operating systems and all the phone's features, but so far I am very impressed.
My first impressions:
I really like the larger screen.
It's much faster than my iPhone 3G. Apps open and run faster with no freezes like those that were common with my iPhone.
You can expand the storage and change the battery yourself, two features not available on iPhone.
It is much more customizable than iPhone, as Apple very tightly controls the user experience.
I don't like that there are preinstalled apps that can't be removed. Most of them I will never use and are just wasting space.

Love the phone, though. Love it.
